• One of the great resources we offer are training grants to high growth career pathways. Career Planners will work with each person to identify their desired career path and help match to a potential training. The training grants are available for approved programs up to $7,000 for non-healthcare related career fields and $10,000 for the healthcare fields. There are training programs available in: IT, Transportation /Logistics, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Business, and more.

Another great service that the Workforce Network can provide is real world experience through paid internships or On the Job Trainings within a young adult’s desired career pathway. This provides a solution to our young adults on how they can truly gain entry level work experience in a career field.

Our paid internships are called work experiences and start at 240 hours. Work experience can focus in a variety of fields.

On the Job trainings are when an organization hires our young adult directly and provides them training to learn a position. We can reimburse the organization up to 75% of the wages during the extended training time. By the end of the On the Job training, the young adult is fully equipped to perform the position and will then continue working for the organization.
