Mission Statement
The mission of Procurement and Special Services is to provide innovative, cost-effective and quality services to County Agencies, in accordance with the McHenry County Purchasing Ordinance, through a strategic and systematic approach to procurement.
Department Functions
Purchases of less than $30,000 are made in accordance with established procedures in the Ordinance. Purchases in excess of $30,000 are publicly advertised and subject to formal bidding procedures.
