Your Public Service Work (PSW) hours will need to be completed at a 501 (c) 3 non-profit work site.

Lists of acceptable sites can be given to you depending on where you live in McHenry County. They are also available on our website.  If you live outside of McHenry County, instructions on how to find a 501 (c) 3 non-profit work site will be given to you.

• The work site that you choose will report the hours that you work directly to the Court Services Court Monitoring Program or Probation Officer. Please get your own copy for your records.
• A Court Services employee will verify and report the completed hours to the Court.
• “501(c)(3)” means that a particular nonprofit organization has been approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, charitable organization.
