Probation and Court Services can provide bus passes through the MCRide Dial-A-Ride program in partnership with Pace Bus. Your Probation Officer can distribute single, one-way, bus passes upon request.
MCRide service operates every day, except for holidays, from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm. The fares for the general public are $4.00 for the first five miles. Fares for seniors (60+) and individuals with a disability are $2.00 for the first five miles. All riders are charged $0.25 per mile after the first five miles. In partnership with Problem Solving Courts, McHenry County Division of Transportation, and Independence Health & Therapy, Ride to Recovery Bus Route is also available. Call 815-334-4502 for more information.
