Reporting Possible Violations

When a possible violation is brought to the department's attention from a concerned citizen, an inspection of the property is conducted and it is determined If a violation exists. If a violation does exist, a letter is sent to the property owner allowing them the opportunity to correct the situation. If the owner does not respond to violation notices, then an Ordinance Violation is filed and a court date is scheduled.
