McHenry County WIC is proud to offer friendly experts in nutrition, breastfeeding, healthy foods and community referrals to assist families.  When you are on WIC, you can count on us to be there with support and answers from the beginning of your pregnancy all the way up to your child's fifth birthday.

When you come to our offices, you will receive personalized nutrition counseling.  You are always able to talk with a nutritionist, registered dietitian, or other staff with any questions  you may have.

The WIC Foods:

WIC offers supplemental food packages, tailored to the participant's category that are based on the latest nutrition guidelines to promote optimal health and well being for you and your family.  The WIC food packages offer fruits, vegetables, whole grains, milk, eggs, juice, peanut butter and beans, cereal and jarred infant foods, cereal and supplemental formula when necessary.
