The McHenry County Department of Health is proud to be a leader in addressing community needs relating to addiction and substance use. The MCDH is committed to equipping the community with accurate information and continuing to provide extensive services at no cost, including: 

  • Substance education
  • Distribution of harm reduction supplies
  • Connection to community partners
  • Navigation to local programs and resources
  • Naloxone (NARCAN) training
  • Educational presentations for groups like classrooms, workplaces, and organizations. 

The McHenry County Department of Health seeks to address community concerns regarding a wide range of substances, including alcohol, marijuana, opioids, misused prescription drugs, and illicit drugs.
