Preparation is a TEAM effort!

Collaboration is the backbone of effective emergency response. That’s why McHenry County EMA was proud to facilitate a Winter Storm Tabletop Exercise involving county officials, first responders, and NGO partners. For this particular simulation, the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) was activated, providing a platform for participants to engage in high-level strategic planning and resource coordination within a controlled environment. These exercises are critical because they allow agencies to identify potential gaps in response plans before a disaster strikes, ensuring that when extreme weather arrives, our county moves with a unified, efficient, and well-rehearsed strategy to keep all residents safe.
