The McHenry County Division of Transportation (MCDOT) strives to respond to and close service requests made during normal business hours within 24 hours at least 95% of the time to improve customer service for County residents and safety for the traveling public. During the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2019, MCDOT responded to and closed service requests within 24 hours during normal business hours 90% of the time.

The full Strategic Plan Goal at the center of 24/7 reads, "Identify and prioritize citizen expectation and provide services efficiently in order to operate at the lowest possible tax levy." By tracking the time it takes to resolve service requests and striving to resolve 95% of all requests within 24 hours during normal business hours, MCDOT is moving toward more efficient service provision in accordance with the Strategic Plan.
MCDOT records the time that the request for service is placed and tracks the time to respond to the request. This measurement records the percentage of responses that occur within 24 hours during normal business hours on a quarterly basis.
