Responsibilities Include:

  • Setting operational policies, procedures, and definitions for supportive services, voucher system (Individual Training Accounts [ITAs], core services, intensive services, and training services for adults and dislocated workers
  • Reviewing and making recommendations for any contractual services
  • Establishing the criteria for selection of providers
  • Recommending the use of service providers and subsequent use of service providers
  • Reviewing the performance of service providers
  • Overseeing and monitoring the overall status of the workforce area including expenditures and program results
