The APWA PWX national conference held in Seattle, WA from September 8-11, 2019, our employee Helena Sullivan was presented with her Jennings Randolph International Fellowship plaque.  This prestigious fellowship supports participation at a public works conference of one of the APWA international partners and provides funding for a public works study tour in the chosen country.  Additionally, the recipient of the fellowship prepares an article for the APWA Reporter magazine within two months following the study tour, and the article describes the objectives for the tour and the lessons learned.  Lastly, as a JR Fellow, the recipient will attend the national APWA conference (known as PWX) and conduct an educational seminar to share how the exchange contributed to professional development and highlights the knowledge gained from the trip.

However, through diligent planning, public involvement, project staging and environmental considerations, WBK Engineering worked with McHenry County Division of Transportation to develop a progressive solution that exceeded the standard of care and enhanced the local habitat.
