NEW - Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) - Emergency Solutions Grant COVID-19 funding (ESG-CV)
The McHenry County Continuum of Care to End Homelessness (CoC) is issuing notice of a ESG-CV funding opportunity for qualified provider entities to complete eligible ESG activities that assist in confronting homelessness in McHenry County. Interested applicants are directed to click the "Continuum of Care to End Homelessness" sub-tab to review the public notice and Letter of Intent instruction document.
NEW - Substantial Amendment 1 to the 2019 Annual Action Plan
The McHenry County Department of Planning and Development - Community Development Division (CD Division) had solicited public comments starting Tuesday, May 26, 2020 beginning at 4:00 pm CDT through Monday, June 1, 2020 ending at 4:00 pm CDT on the Substantial Amendment to the 2019 Annual Action Plan. This truncated public comment period is authorized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through a waiver authorized by Congress.

NEW - Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) - FY 2021 McHenry County Senior Services Grant
The McHenry County Department of Planning and Development - Community Development Division (CD Division) and the McHenry County Administration Division are hereby issuing notice that the County is accepting Letters of Intent (LOI) for competitive allocation of County FY 2021 Senior Services Grant funding from April 27, 2020 through June 12, 2020 at 4:00 PM, CDT. McHenry County estimates an allocation of $1,645,000.00 (one million six hundred forty-five thousand dollars and zero/cents) in grants from the Senior Services Grant Fund will be allocated through a competitive process. This level of funding is subject to increase, decrease, or non-availability.
The LOI is the first step in a formal process to identify final applicants for Senior Services Grant funding. The NOFA and LOI can be found by visiting the Senior Services Grant webpage by either clicking www.mchenrycountyil.gov/SSGC or by clicking the "Senior Services Grant Commission" tab on the left side of this screen and then clicking "Senior Services Grant Fund."
On Thursday, May 6, 2020 at 10:00 AM, CDT, County staff will host an informational meeting to review LOI procedures and respond to questions from potential grantees. The meeting will be through an online meeting portal. Interested applicants are highly encouraged to attend this meeting and should contact [email protected] for the meeting link.
