In an effort to prevent the spread of coronavirus, visitors to the McHenry County Administration Building at 667 Ware Road will be limited to the front lobby. Drop boxes have been provided to leave materials for staff. Based on the Governor of Illinois order to continue only essential government services, the Department of Planning and Development will be conducting inspections for emergency building repairs and construction based on previously issued permits, on an individual basis. All inspection requests shall be submitted via email at [email protected]. When submitting the request for inspection include the following information: permit number, address, point of contact name and phone number.
