If you are charged with a D.U.I., you MUST secure an evaluation from an Illinois Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (DASA)-licensed provider. The expense for the alcohol assessment is your responsibility.
If you are ordered by the Court to undergo D.U.I. Risk Level Program for drug/alcohol abuse, you must complete the classes prior to a court date as set by the Court in your sentencing order. On your return court date, you MUST furnish the Judge with a certificate verifying that you have successfully completed the D.U.I. Risk Level Program.
You MUST follow all of the conditions of your sentencing order. D.U.I. Evaluations and D.U.I. Risk Level Programs can ONLY be done by a program certified by the Illinois Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse (DASA). To locate a certified provider in your area see the Illinois Division of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse.
