WEEKDAY WEDDING INFORMATION

Please call Court Administration at (815) 334-4385 to schedule a weekday wedding appointment.

Monday through Friday (excluding Court Holidays); 1 wedding at each time slot

11:00AM; 11:15AM; 11:30AM; 1:00PM; 1:15PM; 3:00PM; 3:15PM; and 3:30PM

 

Please arrive 15 minutes BEFORE for your scheduled time at the Michael J. Sullivan Judicial Center.

Please no earlier than 15 minutes    

Check-In at Court Administration (Room 355)

 

You can only have a total of 4 guests (does not include the two people getting married or interpreter).

Please tell your guests to arrive promptly at your scheduled time.  No witness is required. 

 

Be sure to bring $10.00 (CASH ONLY) and your marriage license on your scheduled wedding day.

We cannot guarantee that the ATM will be operational at the Judicial Center.

 

If you do not speak English, you must bring someone over the age of 18 years old to interpret, the Judge cannot marry you if you do not understand what is being said.  We do not provide interpreters.

 

Friendly reminder: While you are waiting in the hallways or common areas, no photography or videography is allowed. You can take photos and videos in the courtroom. Please remind your guests that pictures and videos are not permitted in the hallways or common areas.  No photos with Judge.

SATURDAY WEDDING INFORMATION

Saturday weddings take place on the 1st and 3rd week of each month.

  8:45AM; 9:00AM; 9:15AM; and 9:30AM (time will be assigned to the couple).

 

Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time at the Michael J. Sullivan Judicial Center

Check-in with the court security officer at the West Entrance (1st Floor, facing Route 47).

 

Please bring your marriage license on your wedding day, the Judge cannot marry you without it.
