McHenry County Department of Health to implement updated Public Health Ordinance

MCHENRY COUNTY, IL — Following a public comment period earlier this year, the updated McHenry County Public Health Ordinance goes into effect August 1. The revisions reflect community feedback, current public health standards, and the Department’s ongoing commitment to protecting the health and well‑being of residents.

The MCDH thanks the residents, businesses, and stakeholders who participated by submitting feedback or attending public meetings. Their engagement played a meaningful role in shaping the ordinance updates now being implemented.
