McHenry County Department of Health seeks input on proposed updates to Public Health Ordinance
MCHENRY COUNTY, IL – The McHenry County Department of Health (MCDH) is proposing revisions to the McHenry County Public Health Ordinance and is seeking public input on the draft changes.
A copy of the complete draft ordinance, along with a summary of significant changes, is available online at mcdh.link/public-health-ordinance-revisions. Public input is an important part of the process, and a summary of all public comments will be provided to the Board of Health and County Board for their consideration.
Residents are encouraged to submit recommendations throughout the review and approval process. Feedback may be submitted via the contact information provided at mcdh.link/public-health-ordinance-revisions, by calling MCDH at (815) 334-4510, or by attending any public meeting where the draft ordinance will be discussed.
MCDH will also host a public meeting on Tuesday, May 26, at 6:30 p.m. at its Crystal Lake location, 100 N. Virginia Street. Staff will be available to answer questions and discuss the proposed revisions.
