WOODSTOCK, Ill. – McHenry County Government facilities are closing to the public beginning at noon on Thursday, Dec. 22 through Friday, Dec. 23 due to imminent life-threatening weather conditions.

Out of concern for the safety of the public and McHenry County employees, McHenry County Government facilities will be closing to the public from noon Thursday, Dec. 22 through Friday.

Facilities will be closed, but emergency response operations will continue.

Residents are urged to monitor weather conditions, refrain from driving, and check in on elderly and vulnerable neighbors. If residents must travel, they are encouraged to make sure their cell phones are fully charged and inform others of their travel plans.
