Small Business Coronavirus Help Available on County Website
WOODSTOCK, Ill. – Business owners impacted by the coronavirus can find important information and request disaster assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration through the county website.
Governor JB Pritzker has applied for a statewide Economic Injury Declaration from the SBA, which if approved would make small businesses and nonprofits eligible for up to $2 million in low-interest loans to help cover payroll, fixed debts, accounts payable and other bills that cannot be paid as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Nine states and the District of Columbia have been granted eligibility for the SBA loans as of Wednesday morning, and more are expected to be declared soon.
