Randy Peterson Pleads Guilty to Criminal Sexual Assault

RANDY PETERSON PLEADS GUILTY TO CRIMINAL SEXUAL ASSAULT
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that 57-year-old Randy Peterson of Wonder Lake, Illinois, was found guilty of Criminal Sexual Assault, a class 1 felony, following a negotiated plea before the Honorable Michael Coppedge.
Peterson was sentenced to a term of six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections pursuant to the plea. He will have to register as a sex offender for his natural life.
This case was investigated by Detective Thomas Ferraro of the Wonder Lake Police Department. This case was prosecuted by Susanne Groebner of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
