Lorentino Martinez-Tejeda Sentenced to Eight Years in the Department of Corrections for Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child

LORENTINO MARTINEZ-TEJEDA SENTENCED TO EIGHT YEARS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR PREDATORY CRIMINAL SEXUAL ASSAULT OF A CHILD
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that 37-year-old Lorentino Martinez-Tejeda, formerly of McHenry, Illinois, was sentenced to eight years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the offense of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a Child, by the Honorable Judge Robert Wilbrandt on December 20, 2019. The Defendant will be required to to be followed by a three year to natural life period of mandatory supervised release
Martinez-Tejeda plead guilty to sexually assaulting a minor victim who was under 13 years old in November 2017 to August 2018. He must serve his sentence at 85% with no day-for-day credit. Upon release from custody, Martinez-Tejeda will have to register as a lifetime sex offender and be subject to a three year to natural life period of mandatory supervised release.
This case was investigated by Sgt. Clesen and Det. Kinney of the McHenry Police Department. The case was prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney Sharyl Eisenstein.
