Kenneth Harris Sentenced to Five Years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the Offense of Delivery of a Controlled Substance

KENNETH HARRIS SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR THE OFFENSE OF DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that 26-year-old Kenneth Harris of Woodridge, IL was sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the offense of delivery of a controlled substance by the Honorable Michael Coppedge.
The defendant sold heroin to an individual from the city of McHenry who was later apprehended by police and charged with possession of a controlled substance. A follow-up investigation revealed that Kenneth Harris, the defendant, was the person selling heroin to citizens of McHenry County.
This case was investigated by the McHenry City Police Department and prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney Michael Combs.
