Robert Walrod Sentenced to Five Years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the Offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver

ROBERT WALROD SENTENCED TO FIVE YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR THE OFFENSE OF POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE WITH INTENT TO DELIVER

 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Robert Walrod, 41, of McHenry, Illinois, was sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by Honorable Judge Michael Coppedge after pleading guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, a Class 1 Felony. 

On July 31, 2018, Walrod was stopped traveling from Chicago to McHenry. It was discovered that he had heroin in his possession that he intended to sell in McHenry.

This case was investigated by members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Department. This case was prosecuted by Brian Miller of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
