Chad J. Gresham Sentenced to 6.5 Years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for Criminal Sexual Assault

CHAD J. GRESHAM SENTENCED TO 6.5 YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR CRIMINAL SEXUAL ASSAULT
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Chad J. Gresham, 42, formerly of Harvard, Illinois, was found guilty of Criminal Sexual Assault, a Class 1 felony, following a negotiated plea before the Honorable Robert Wilbrandt.
Gresham was sentenced to 6.5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections pursuant to the plea and will need to register as a lifetime sex offender upon release from custody. Defendant is not entitled to day for day credit and must serve at least 85% of his sentence.
This case was investigated by members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office. This case was prosecuted by Sharyl Eisenstein of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
