Michelle Cappello (aka Michelle Hall) Sentenced to Four and a Half Years in the Department of Corrections for Delivery of a Controlled Substance

MICHELLE CAPPELLO (A.K.A MICHELLE HALL) SENTENCED TO FOUR AND A HALF YEARS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR DELIVERY OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Michelle M. Cappello, A.K.A. Michelle M. Hall, 24, of Lake In The Hills, Illinois, admitted to violating the terms of her original sentence to the charge of Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance, a Class 1 felony, by committing a new offense. She also pled guilty to Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, a Class 4 felony.
On June 29, 2019, Cappello was found by members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office to be in the possession of multiple baggies of heroin. This occurred while she was still under sentence for delivering heroin in 2016.
Cappello was sentenced to four and a half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for violating her probation and a concurrent three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for her new offense by the Honorable Robert Wilbrandt.
These cases was investigated by members of the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office and were prosecuted by Brette Dunbar of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
