Lindsey Braley Sentenced to Seven Years in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the Offense of Possession of 15-100 Grams of Heroin

LINDSEY BRALEY SENTENCED TO SEVEN YEARS IN THE ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS FOR THE OFFENSE OF POSSESSION OF 15-100 GRAMS OF HEROIN

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Lindsey Braley, 28, was sentenced to seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by Honorable Judge Michael Coppedge after pleading guilty to Possession of 15-100 Grams of Heroin, a Class 1 Felony. Braley also pled guilty to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. 

On April 23, 2019, an Illinois State Police Trooper stopped a car being driven by Braley on Interstate 90. After conducting an investigation on scene, it was determined that Braley was intoxicated. She was arrested and her car was searched. Troopers found approximately 36 grams of heroin in the car.

This case was investigated by members of the Illinois State Police. This case was prosecuted by Brian Miller of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
