Thomas Zurawski Sentenced to Six Years for Solicitation of Child Pornography

THOMAS ZURAWSKI SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS FOR SOLICITATION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Thomas Zurawski, 27, of Lakemoor, Illinois, was found guilty of Solicitation of Child Pornography, a Class 1 felony, following a negotiated plea before the Honorable Michael Coppedge.
Officers from the Lakemoor Police Department opened an investigation into Zurawski after receiving information from detectives in Minnesota that identified Zurawski as an individual who was soliciting and receiving child pornography from a 14-year old female in their jurisdiction. Officers met with Zurawski, who admitted to the solicitation.
Defendant will serve six (6) years in the Illinois Department of Corrections, pursuant to the plea.
This case was investigated by members of the Lakemoor Police Department. This case was prosecuted by Robert Ladd of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
