Andres L. Hernandez Sentenced to Department of Corrections on Class 1 Aggravated Robbery Offense

ANDRES L. HERNANDEZ SENTENCED TO DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS ON CLASS 1 AGGRAVATED ROBBERY OFFENSE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Andres L. Hernandez, age 22, pled guilty to the offense of Aggravated Robbery, a Class 1 Felony, following a negotiated plea on May 9, 2018 before the Honorable James S. Cowlin. Hernandez was sentenced to 7½ years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and ordered to pay restitution.
In October 2016, Hernandez and a co-defendant confronted the male victim in the parking lot of Super Market La Trinidad, 1230 Davis Road, Woodstock. While displaying a firearm the two men struck the victim in the head, and took his wallet and cellular telephone.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney Victor Escarcida of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
