Raymond P. Teague and Alexandra M. Hanners Plead Guilty to Possession of Heroin

RAYMOND P. TEAGUE AND ALEXANDRA M. HANNERS PLEAD GUILTY TO POSSESSION OF HEROIN
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Raymond P. Teague, 31, pled guilty to Possession of Heroin (15-100 grams), a Class 1 Felony, before the Honorable James Cowlin. Alexandra M. Hanners, 24, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance.
On October 8, 2017, members of the McHenry Police Department observed Teague and Hanners asleep in a vehicle in the parking lot of a closed park. Further investigation led to the discovery of 134 bags (approximately 32 grams) of heroin packaged for sale in Teague’s possession. Hanners admitted to using some of the heroin found in Teague’s possession and also admitted driving him to conduct deliveries of the heroin.
Teague was sentenced to 9.5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections pursuant to the plea. Hanners was sentenced to 3.5 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections pursuant to the plea.
This case was investigated by members of the McHenry Police Department. This case was prosecuted by Robert Ladd and Brian Miller of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
