Kenneth S. Nepras Sentenced to Department of Corrections

KENNETH S. NEPRAS SENTENCED TO DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that 26-year-old Kenneth S. Nepras of Rockford, Illinois, was sentenced to forty-two months in the Illinois Department of Corrections for the offense of burglary by the Honorable Judge Cowlin. Nepras was found guilty following a jury trial on October 31, 2017. On May 5, 2017 around 5:00 am Nepras entered the Eastwood Laundromat located at 450 S. Eastwood Drive, Woodstock, Illinois. Nepras kicked down an office door once inside the laundromat, causing damage. Defendant was located while the burglary was in progress by the Woodstock Police Department in a restricted area of the office near the coin machines.
The case was prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorneys Mary Ann Scholl and Victor Escarcida. The case was investigated by the Woodstock Police Department.
