Mark J. Priester Pleads Guilty to Possession of Cannabis

MARK J. PRIESTER PLEADS GUILTY TO POSSESSION OF CANNABIS
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Patrick D. Kenneally, McHenry County State’s Attorney, announces that Mark J. Priester, 39, pled guilty to Possession of Over 5,000 grams of Cannabis, a Class 1 Felony, before the Honorable James Cowlin.
On March 31, 2017, a search warrant was conducted on Priester’s residence in Cary. Approximately 6,333 grams of cannabis were located in the residence.
Priester was sentenced to 4 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections pursuant to the plea.
This case was investigated by members of the Illinois State Police Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group. This case was prosecuted by Robert Ladd of the McHenry County State’s Attorney’s Office.
