Join us for the McHenry County Solar Summit to learn all about solar farms in McHenry County.
The Summit will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Friday, June 21, 2024 in Conference Room A of the McHenry County Administration Building at 667 Ware Road, Woodstock, IL 60098.
Clean renewable energy from solar has reached a new turning point in the United States. As opportunities for solar continue to expand, communities inevitably have questions about how solar farms work and the benefits they can provide. The McHenry County Solar Summit provides you a chance to learn all about solar farms, the current state of solar in McHenry County and across Illinois, and what the future of solar energy may look like.
The McHenry County Solar Summit is one of the events in our series of Talk and Tours that showcase best management practices being implemented in McHenry County. The Talk and Tour programs are free and open to anyone interested in learning more about the topics being covered. Snacks and refreshments will be provided.
