The McHenry County Workforce Network Board (LWIB) is a local business led organization responsible for developing policy and overseeing local workforce development initiatives in partnership with our local elected officials. The LWIB's role is to ensure that the local workforce investment system is market-driven and responsive in meeting the employment and training needs of McHenry County employers and job seekers alike.

The LWIB and the McHenry County Workforce Network are established and funded by the Federal Workforce Investment Act.  Partnering with leaders from business, economic development, education, labor, community organizations, and local elected officials we work to identify employer and worker needs and to develop programs and solutions.
