Healthy Child Care Illinois Program
The Healthy Child Care Illinois (HCCI) program , funded through the Illinois Department of Human Services, links child care to health care by utilizing a network of registered nurses to provide guidance and assistance to child care providers, the children in their care, and their parents on a range of issues affecting the health and safety of children. HCCI promotes quality care for the well-being of children within the child care community.
Locally, HCCI partners our health department with the 4-C: Community Coordinated Child Care Agency satellite office in McHenry County.
4-C offers services and information to parents, employers and child care providers. The Agency works to enhance the availability, accessibility and quality of child care.
